| The Lodge Chaplaincy is what we all make it, together |
|
Thanks to all those that keep me posted on sickness and distress of those of the State, Federal, and local law enforcement, affiliate members, emergency their families. I may be contacted at cell phone 670-1198; or pager number 244-0026; home phone voicemail at 424-5943; It is always best to call my cell phone first. I thank everyone for their support of their Chaplaincy program. I ask for your continued prayers and support. We don't concemtrate on our differences, but on the Spirit of the Ministry.

There may have been some members that have not shared their prayer requests
with me because they did not want it on the web site. Rest assured, if you
tell me not to share your prayer request, it will remain between you, I,
and the Lord. Call upon me when you need to talk or share a prayer concern;
we can talk.

| I am glad we are a Lodge of benevolence |
|
There is more to benevolence than just giving money. Our Lodge has always
served our fellow brothers and sisters in law enforcment with compassion
and understanding, Lodge members or not. Although non-Lodge members will
not qualify for the benefits of membership, our thoughts and prayers are
with them when in need. Sometimes a kind word, attentive ear, or a card of
condolence can be the uplift a fellow offier or their family needs. Just
as a person of God would not ignore their ear to a person of another
denomination, so should our Lodge continue lend an ear to officers whether
members of the FOP or not. It is not all about benefits, providing money,
or lawyer fees; we know where the heart of our Lodge is, and I am proud of
our Lodge. Our Lodge will never be too big to offer compassion to fellow
officers, members or not. As officers see that in our membership, they
will want to be part of us and join.
